About Us
Alexandra Hall is an Indiana University, Bloomington graduate and an artist whose artworks can be found in private and public collections throughout the United States. She has a BA in Political Science and a BA in Slavic Languages and Literature. Since 2014 she has worked as a professional painter, muralist, and illustrator.
Hall believes strongly in implementing programs that improve quality of life. Good public space design can impact change and encourage people to stay in their community.
In 2016 she developed Art This Way, a public art program which implements large scale public art and public realm pilot projects in Downtown Fort Wayne, IN, and she manages the program for the Fort Wayne Downtown Improvement District.
ALEXANDRA HALL
In partnership with economic development entities, not-for-profit organizations, and developers, we have implemented more than two hundred public art projects in both rural and urban settings. Our goal is to strategically leverage the power of public art and good urban design to improve walkability, change the character of public spaces, and reinvent the purpose of public spaces. We can help recruit and hire artists, provide contract templates, develop projects, project manage, offer cost projections, and work with your organization until your project is complete.
Founder | Consultant
Alexandra served on the Fort Wayne Public Art Commission Steering Committee, which wrote, analyzed, and developed the Fort Wayne Public Art Commission’s guidelines. She now serves as a consultant for the Fort Wayne Public Art Commission.
She was the developer and public art consultant for Arts United and the Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership’s 2020 Make It Your Own Mural Fest.

In 2022 she managed the LivCo Walls mural festival in New York. She programmed 10 projects for a development company, 1 project for the City of Fort Wayne, and 37 projects for Friends of the Rivers. In 2022, Hall helped to facilitate and execute over 60 public art projects for five different clients.

“Murals activate public spaces, reinventing their use and purpose,” said Hall, also the founder of Art This Way and owner of AH Public Spaces Consulting. “By creating a cultural destination, we engage an audience while they move from business to business within a community.”

“.. investment in culture can create these economic booms,” she says. “We always talk about 'staying power' and the 'young people coming here', or 'what makes the young people stay'. And I think that we have neglected how important it is to have a really unique culture, and part of that culture is artistic expression.”

“All cities have something to learn from Fort Wayne’s understanding of how public art can shape a community (and hey, you’ll snap plenty of colorful Insta moments strolling around here, too).”
